Specializations highlight the field of medical technologists and biochemistry. Some technologist prepares solutions used in chemical analysis. The work is not limited up to the tests. These technologists are even responsible for calibration and maintenance of the manual and computer-controlled analyzers, spectrophotometers, colorimeters, flame photometers, and other equipment used in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
