There should be protective creams and effective liquid solution for washing hands after carrying out tests, experiments. The major precautions for medical technologists are while taking the blood tests because they have to handle different types of infected patients. There should be correct labeling of all chemicals and samples.

Precautions for the medical technologists contain various precautionary measures. They should handle the laboratory chemicals with care. They should store chemicals in the laboratory in only the amount needed for day-to-day work. They should utilize fume hoods and laminar flow hoods to eradicate aerosols, vapors, dusts and infectious agents.
